Plans are underway for Darrington School District to begin in-person learning for students in PK-2 grades starting Monday, October 26th. These plans are based on the input and cooperation between parents, teachers, staff, and the school board. Elementary school staff will be in contact with families in the coming days to begin planning for this return to school. The health and safety of our community is paramount. Safety procedures and health guidelines will be followed in our schools. We will continue to closely monitor Snohomish County Health District guidelines and follow their directives regarding operations. We are happy to announce that the USDA has provided a waiver allowing meal service for all youth through age 18 in our community through December. Starting Tuesday, September 8, breakfast and lunch will be available for pickup at the Darrington Elementary School Cafeteria from 10 AM-1 PM.
