The Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center is a collaborative initiative supported by about 14 school districts, designed to equip students with practical skills for entry-level positions or further education after high school. It offers over 20 courses across five distinct career pathways.
Students commute to and from Sno-Isle, located near Paine Field in Everett, while splitting their day between Sno-Isle and DHS. Each year, they earn 3.0 credits at SISC that apply to various graduation requirements.
Sno-Isle courses are grouped into “Pathways” aligned with broad occupational fields:
Information Technology
Business Marketing and Management
Human Services
Science & Health
Trade and Industry
Applications for fall enrollment open on November 7th and are submitted online. Students who apply will go through an interview process at Sno-Isle, with transportation provided from Darrington High School for the AM sessions. The bus will leave DHS at 6:25am and return by 11:15am. For more information, please visit the Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center website.
